I love this guy but he loves another girl!? please read! ?

Hi, I really like this boy...hes just like me in a way! And were best friends but we dont hang out and stuff :S but anyway he broke up with his girlfriend because she didnt find any interest in him and so he got upset and ran to me. And so I got him through it :) and then as I was about to ask him out he mentioned who he liked...shes one of my best friends and Im jelous of her shes so pretty she wears glasses but is gorgeous and stunning in every way! :( and cant really see them holding hands because hes a punk and shes one of those normal people with all of that make up and bright pink lip gloss o.O and me...i wear dark make up listen to bands like green day,slipknot,Skillet,my chemical romance,and so does he Im decent looking brown tight curls fair skin bright hazel eyes. But Im heart broken that he dosent feel the same way...he loves that girl he gave me a few reasons,shes beautiful,shes easy to talk to,fun,always has a thing for her! Im getting,quite jelous now...hes asking her out on Monday and giving her time to think on it for the moment,but I inboxed her on Facebook to say he likes her and she put back Im not sure though I dont think it would work!. Ive just been rejected by someone that took me a month to get over :| so now I have less confidence to ask him...Im so damn stuck help me!? P.S he also looks like Billie Joe of green day ;)
